Winning teams (St Catherine, Excelsior, Kingston College, Mona, Eltham, etc.)
Caution! Due to inherent human biases, it may seem that reports on articles aligning with our views are crafted by opponents. Conversely, reports about articles that contradict our beliefs might seem to be authored by allies. However, such perceptions are likely to be incorrect. These impressions can be caused by the fact that in both scenarios, articles are subjected to critical evaluation. This report is the product of an AI model that is significantly less biased than human analyses and has been explicitly instructed to strictly maintain 100% neutrality.
Nevertheless, HonestyMeter is in the experimental stage and is continuously improving through user feedback. If the report seems inaccurate, we encourage you to submit feedback , helping us enhance the accuracy and reliability of HonestyMeter and contributing to media transparency.
Use of mildly emotive or value‑laden terms that go beyond neutral description of results.
Phrases such as: - “Mona’s emphatic 8-1 demolition of Hillel Academy.” - “Eltham completed the list of nine-point teams with a commanding 4-0 win over Bridgeport High.” - “St Catherine were equally impressive, blanking Jose Marti Technical 5-0…” These terms (“demolition”, “commanding”, “equally impressive”) add emotional or evaluative weight to already clear scorelines. While common in sports writing and not grossly misleading, they subtly frame winners as dominant and losers as overwhelmed, rather than simply reporting the numerical results.
Replace “Mona’s emphatic 8-1 demolition of Hillel Academy” with a more neutral phrasing such as “Mona’s 8-1 win over Hillel Academy.”
Replace “Eltham completed the list of nine-point teams with a commanding 4-0 win over Bridgeport High” with “Eltham completed the list of nine-point teams with a 4-0 win over Bridgeport High.”
Replace “St Catherine were equally impressive, blanking Jose Marti Technical 5-0” with “St Catherine defeated Jose Marti Technical 5-0.”
In general, prefer neutral verbs like “defeated”, “beat”, or “won” and avoid metaphorical or emotionally charged terms like “demolition”, “blanking”, or “commanding” when aiming for maximum objectivity.
- This is an EXPERIMENTAL DEMO version that is not intended to be used for any other purpose than to showcase the technology's potential. We are in the process of developing more sophisticated algorithms to significantly enhance the reliability and consistency of evaluations. Nevertheless, even in its current state, HonestyMeter frequently offers valuable insights that are challenging for humans to detect.
